Damdam:

What a show! By the way, what was the name of Laura's sister, those always falling while running?

February 24, 2006 9:47 AM

Alison Arngrim:

Nice show, fine souvenirs... and such a "French" haircut...

Your English is improving but I aint got exactly what "koodbool" means ?

DamDam > do you mean Carrie ?

February 24, 2006 10:02 AM

phil:

And the familly adopted a little boy Albert ...
And Mary broke up with the lawyer and became a teacher and fell in love with a blind teacher too : Adam

Ekzit:

And what about the young boy they adopted ? Yes Phil, i'm reading your comment at the same time : Albert. Drugaddict ! He was the nice bad boy of the story...
And the big man Bearded, whose real name is Victor French. He also performed in 'Road to paradise'...

February 24, 2006 10:21 AM

Pem:

And the dog, what was its name ?

@ Alison => "koodbool" is "Coup de Boule" that you can translate by head blow...

February 24, 2006 11:04 AM

Boris:

Congrats Vinvin ! This brand new "Bonjour America !" clearly appears as major individual initiative to promote exchanges and closer ties between the civil societies in both countries.
Moreover, "Bonjour America !" is a f*ck*ng funny video blog Oh là là !

February 24, 2006 11:04 AM

Tann:

Charles Ingalls is like Kaiser Soze !

Ahah, bravo Cyrille. Je ne m'en lasse pas. :-)

SiCkBoY:

February 24, 2006 12:26 AM

Tootite

Euh... How to say! It is powerful, mortal. I cried about it... to laugh... especially the "blow of ball" hahahouhou

February 24, 2006 1:27 PM

Tootite

"blow of ball" means... tadam... "coup of ball" (scuse me but it is the translation of voilà !!!!)

February 24, 2006 1:30 PM

Blaise:

I think you're a little harsh on Caroline Ingalls! remember when she smiled...

February 24, 2006 1:34 PM

trigun:

"coup de boule" means to beat somebody with his head.

Nice show Cyrille ;).

February 24, 2006 1:43 PM

Ju:

Very good show ! Yeah i love it !

February 24, 2006 2:14 PM

missand:

Mouarfff !!! Trop drole !! ;-)

it's still everyday on tv here.... Yep !

February 24, 2006 5:37 PM

Mike:

The show itself was good at the time, I used to watch it every week when I was a kid. I think some of those stories were loosely based on the diary of Laura Ingalls Wilder, some of them seemed a little far fetched to have happened in real life.

I think as a kid I liked the opening sequence best, I liked the theme song, and the part where their wagon was driving across the prairie, and the little girl was running through the field, and fell down and got up again. I always noticed that the tree in the background, was kind of shaped like their wagon, at least I thought so when I was a kid.

The show itself was good at the time, but it was in desperate need of some action scenes, maybe a gunfight or something. The reruns are still on, but I've long since lost interest in it. But compared to what's on TV today, this show certainly is better.

Richard Bull the guy who played Nells Olsen, had a bit part as a security guard in the movie The Thomas Crown Affair, the original with Steve McQueen, I found that interesting.

The woman who played Caroline didn't really have a prominent part in the show, they just kind of faded her into the background, she was just there. Her character never really stood out most of the time.

And I found it a little hard to believe that an explosion of dynamite could return Adam's sight to him, I wonder how many documented cases there are of that happening.

But I do remember when they made the finale of the show, and decided to blow up the entire town, that was kind of fun.

February 24, 2006 7:20 PM

Tippie:

"She fell in love", darling.
Not 'felt'... Although, she might feel it too but, anyways... the Americans, they fall in love, they don't feel in love... he he he ;^)

I couldn't stand Nelly either ! Gee ! What a f*ck*ng b*tch ! Just like her mom and bro (what was his name again ??).
I feel sorry for the dad !! His life must have been a nightmare. That's sad divorce wasn't allowed at that time (but he could have killed them... It would have been a cool episode ! Mouahaha !)

I loved to watch this show when I was a kid (oh yeah yeah, also when I was older, okay, I admit it !) but it started to get really dramatic towards the end of the story and that wasn't fun anymore.

Mike, great comment !
Well done :o)

February 24, 2006 7:38 PM

Marie*:

Tout simplement excellent!

February 24, 2006 7:50 PM

Luciole:

Waou!!! !

Ahah!)

February 24, 2006 11:01 PM

pezz

Great!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Thank you Cyrille

February 25, 2006 1:38 AM

miss lulu:

yes but nelly finally became a nice girl, when she got married and took over the restaurant! we read the books when we were kids... quite a different story from the series, but what is funny is that the book did not tell the whole truth. some stuff in the series is not in the book but is still what really happened to that family.

love your show :)

February 25, 2006 2:30 AM

Bob2bob:

Episode 5 : seen.
My reaction : Yes and no. Too much tears and emotions. A such pretty girl...
Gilbert montagné's reaction : We will love each other (in a aircraft on the deck of a boat).
Gilbert Collard's reaction : Stop pulling my legs!

February 25, 2006 9:50 AM

February 27, 2006 5:51 PM

Miss Blablabla:

Why R you talkin' about the Little House in the prairie with the Indiana Jones'hat...?

February 27, 2006 11:24 PM

Victor

Par où commencer... tu me répondrais surement... "par le début" !

Merci !!

Merci C-Y-R-I-L-L-E ! On en veut encore !! :P

March 21, 2006 6:47 PM

nemo:

I really feel like I have no tv culture. I've never seen the little house in the prairie and I hardly see who the characters are - except the magnificent Charles Ingalls.
Charles = Keyser Sose ?
I'll never watch the little house in the prairie the same way again (well, as I've never watched it...)
BTW, do you prefer the Ingalls or the Cosby family ?
Anyway, it sounded sad but it was funny, as usual.
Next !

"Charles Ingalls, the pope, the general" - I do believe that was the original character description in the very first episode. Merci for the grande laughs. Je t'adore!

April 11, 2006 2:30 AM

Spunkae

The best part of this week's show was the Mary Ingalls/Ray Charles character. Bravo.

April 16, 2006 6:37 PM

BIG MIKE

I read all the books and your talking about the show and how you hated the Oleson family. This was pretty funny.
Good Job.

May 7, 2006 6:15 PM

Daniel

Salut Cyrille -- « Nellie Oleson, what a bitch ! » Ha!

J'espère que tu m'as compris.)

May 20, 2006 5:32 AM

Bettina Soulez:

Et j'ai raté ça ! Et le feuilleton... et ton podcast ! Il était temps que je passe là...
