Hi everybody!

How to make a 7 min film with 3 stupid french jokes! =))

Moreover, I already knew all 3!!

One question: won't we see François anymore? I love him! (Is he single?)

May 5, 2006 12:17 AM

bliksem:

huhuhu!

my two favourite jokes, what is the difference beetween a chicken (but i do it with a duck i prefer) and the eggs in the frying pan!

i'll never get over this show, my master of humour!

and the correct spelling is poêle without the o in water...

May 5, 2006 12:49 AM

dgtall

An alternative to the chicken joke: the moutain joke.

(Maybe the translation isn't very good :) )

What's the difference between a montain?

You can reach the top faster than walking.

Pour continuer la lecon de francais l'originale était:

Quelle est la différence entre une montagne ?
- T'y arrives plus vite en haut qu'à pied

May 5, 2006 1:16 PM

milimalimaloue

Thank you François, that was excellent.
It definitely improved my french (even though i am french)

I'm sure Vinvin will trust you again for another episode. And if he does not, you should really get a vlog of your own.

Any niouzes from Muriell lately ?

May 5, 2006 2:45 PM

Monty

Somebody had to do it ! And you did it !! Certainly a master work. A new stage in our civilization, A new area in Philosophy. A new O-in-the-water-philosophy. A new stage, a new frontier. A big deal. Everything will change in this new century. Here is the mantra :
- How are you, yau de pOEle ?
- Fine, and you' ll a matelas ?
French translation : Comment vas-tu yau de pOEle ? Bien et toile a matelas ?
English translation : How are you yo d'pOEle ? Very well and you'll a matelas.
That's all folks !!

May 5, 2006 3:04 PM

hervé:

I have a great deal of jokes in store for you François, well, a bit funnier if you don't mind my saying! The last one reminds me of a sketch by Coluche, you know, the famous "qui perd perd?" remember??? : "quelle est la différence entre un pigeon? Pouvez vous dire mieux? etc."

May 5, 2006 3:06 PM

miss lulu:

huhuhuh :) t'as eu de la chance que ta poule elle avait pas la grippe aviaire parce que sinon, là, ta blague était foutue!!

alors, line c'est une ligne et lane c'est une voie, ça m'a pris des année pour y arriver!

May 5, 2006 4:03 PM

pakua

don't "paf" François.
he's "vrigoode".

May 5, 2006 5:10 PM

brem:

There is always the classic:

"If a limp penis mustard to come, relish it."

from:

"Si un pénis moutarde à venir, relish-le."

hi hi hi.

May 5, 2006 5:42 PM

Tann:

Vive François !

Je le vois bien dans un épisode genre remake de "Girl just wanna have fun" de Cyndi Lauper...

Ahahah

May 5, 2006 5:57 PM

Kathleen

Oh Francois...you amuse me and you're almost as hot as vinvin!

May 5, 2006 7:30 PM

May 5, 2006 11:54 PM

Margot

so great François! you're such a great teacher! i'm absolutly not american but i love learning more about my own language! But i've a question... Are you sure of your E in the water? i was sure it was E in O, cause the E is almost in the O! I must be crazy, my imagination is too developped i think... But keep going this way guys, you'll become stars! almost as Clint!
hugs & kisses

May 6, 2006 1:35 AM

Cool

Excellent show, but I really don't understand the 3rd joke :(
Merci

May 6, 2006 2:01 AM

May 6, 2006 4:16 AM

Mr. Bloggerific Himself:

Howdy France!

May 6, 2006 6:28 PM

The E in the water ! Mouahahaha !!

May 7, 2006 12:22 AM

keepmelafin

Ahhh.. A french lesson. Scary! I'll have to watch this episode a few times to see if I pick up on any words. But off the cuff I will have to say french looks hard. I guess the best thing to do is to start small and work my way up. How do you spell egg again? Well, back to the video I guess.

May 7, 2006 12:37 AM

A-L:

Are you sure there is un "e entrelacé" for the word poêle ? I'm not sure... I should check in my dictionary.

May 7, 2006 2:13 PM

joséphine:

Hum... my !!!!! like Tippie, I always thought it was E in the O.
But I guess it rained so much, it must have drowned

May 7, 2006 9:48 PM

Tippie:

@Josephine
Arff ! Excellent ! :o)))

I was also wondering about poele... ?
Best way is just not to write in French. Just speak it (if you can) ;^)

May 7, 2006 11:06 PM

Jordane:

really ton best Episode, vinvin

May 8, 2006 0:20 AM

Jo Ann

E in the O, or O in the E??
I speak some French, but have no idea what Tippie and Josephine are talking about. What, do your vowels have sex or something? And are they gender confused?

May 8, 2006 2:23 PM

pouic:

clap clap clap.
I love François :)

May 8, 2006 2:32 PM

pezz

Please, keep François alive, he's a very good showman. Or perhaps give him one chance, ask him to cross over A86 highway between 7 and 9 o'clock...
I think later we could call him "SHKROSHHHH François"
Bye

May 8, 2006 11:33 PM

jujuly:

Ô Françoé (e in the water), you are just... irresistibile !!

May 9, 2006 9:15 AM

bob2bob:

Huuu hu...So funny..
And do you flap flap la girafe ?
Ben c'est une girafe qui se balade, tranquille, pis y a un hélicoptère qui arrive, et flap flap la girafe!
HUUUUUUUU!!!

May 9, 2006 4:52 PM

ProuteMan

"un 'e' in the water" ;-) je crois plutôt que c'est "un 'e' dans l'O" ...

C'est vraiment l'épisode qui m'a fais le plus rire, j'adore François, j'espere qu'on le revera plus souvent !

May 9, 2006 7:34 PM

Papapnky:

Thanks Francois ! ! !
Now I can explain Paf the dog in english !!!!! yessssssss

May 9, 2006 9:46 PM

Jo Ann

Vinvin, it looks like you need a crew to help you with Bonjour America because it takes, I believe you said, almost a full day to produce one of these and you are a busy man these days. I wish I could help you out.

May 10, 2006 9:11 PM

Micha:

Hi!

I truly LOVE what you're doing with these shows, I'm your number one
fan! At LAST an UNDERSTANDABLE English video show! I was sooo fed up
with Jack Baueur's unintelligible accent (oh, I'm French BTW).

I make this post for Francois, actually. As he told us French jokes (with the manner!), I've a good English one for him.
My boss recently told me a FANTASTIC (from it's point of view) English jock (a pun, in fact):

« There was a man who entered a local paper's pun contest. He sent in
ten different puns, in the hope that at least one of the puns would
win. Unfortunately, no pun in ten did. »

Okey. It's hilarious ; but only for American people damn! The pun is
in ``no pun intended'', common sentence to say that... no pun was
intended.

Oh, goosh Vinvin, I'm waiting very impatiently for your next show and,
above all, you to meet Clint!

May 11, 2006 11:47 AM

zazon:

Vinvin,
I'm vey inpressed with how you manage english vocabulary! It's just : wahoooooooo!!! Congratulation! It's all simply to cut the breath!
And thank you for your comment and lonkink!

Jo Ann

See you in Cannes? Pas d'episode alors cette semaine?

May 12, 2006 10:56 AM

Gilbert

Vinvin:
Francois est tres marron! Here's a old riddle for you I learned in Australia:
Why is a mouse when it spins?
Because the higher the fewer and some don't!!!
Oh, la, la! C'est dur!

How bout an episode at the LOUVRE! you know, everyone is talking about DA VINCI CODE!

May 12, 2006 8:33 PM

Simone

Hmmm, jokes, religion & politics... did you hear that the pope has the bird flu? Really! Yeah, I guess he caught from a cardinal..... Does it work in French? I don't know that there is much to understand about Paf. You either get it or it goes flat. No pun in ten did....I like the flurry over the e's & the o's, though. Very amusing.;-)

May 13, 2006 5:41 AM

hervé:

To Gilbert:

What about a Da VINVINci code?
